What I Wish I Knew About Life After 50 — A Real Conversation

I'm going to be honest with you.

When I turned 50, nobody handed me a guidebook. Nobody told me what to expect — the good, the challenging, or the absolutely surprising. So I figured it out as I went, and now at 57 I want to share what I've learned with you.

Because if you're reading this, you're probably navigating some of the same things I am.

The things nobody tells you about life after 50:

Your confidence actually grows. I care so much less about what other people think than I did at 30. That freedom is genuinely one of the best gifts of this chapter.

Your skin, body and sleep change — and that's okay. Menopause is real, perimenopause is real, and talking about it out loud matters. We'll talk about it a lot here.

Money looks different now. Whether you're retired, semi-retired, or still working — thinking about income differently is something most of us are navigating. I'm figuring out new ways to earn and I'll share everything I learn.

Style doesn't stop at 50 — it gets better. I've never felt more like myself than I do right now. We'll talk fashion, beauty, and everything in between.

You deserve to feel beautiful, seen and celebrated — every single day of this chapter.

That's exactly what Her Retirement Life is here for. Real talk, real recommendations, and a real community of women who get it.

I'm so glad you're here. Now let's do this together. 💛
